You acknowledge and accept that attending a large-scale public event involves inherent and unavoidable risks, including but not limited to:
- Personal injury caused by the conduct of yourself, other attendees, or third parties.
- Loss, theft, or damage of personal property.
- Exposure to communicable disease, including airborne illness.
- Slips, trips, or falls within the precinct.

- Conduct of the venue, contractors, or third parties beyond our reasonable control.
You voluntarily assume all such risks.
3. Release of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, you hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue PinkTag, Echo Technologies (Pty) Ltd, their directors, officers, employees, contractors, volunteers, sponsors, partners, and venue operators (the "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death you may sustain in connection with the event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
4. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any third-party claim arising out of your conduct at the event, including any breach of these Terms or the Code of Conduct.
5. Medical treatment
If you require medical attention on-site, you authorise PinkTag and the venue's medical staff to provide reasonable first aid and to call emergency services on your behalf. You are responsible for the cost of any treatment.
