Why investors come

The room is the product.

We didn't build PinkTag to fill a venue. We built it to put the right founders in front of the right capital — and to make sure the rooms after dark are just as serious as the ones during the day.

Curated African founders

Fifty founders pre-vetted across HealthTech, LegalTech, PropTech, FinTech and AI built for African markets. No noise, no booths chasing you down corridors.

The Investor Exchange

An invitation room for warm introductions. You tell us the thesis, we line up the founders you actually want to meet.

Johannesburg at night

Networking that converts. Two nights of curated rooms across the Precinct — the kind of conversations that don't happen on a hotel mezzanine.

Dealflow, not dating-app energy

Verified Investor badge, a Deal Room, and a concierge that keeps the wrong meetings off your calendar.

Investor Pass — R3,500

What's in the pass.

Open to buy. Capped at 150 seats across the entire summit — when they're gone, they're gone.

Founder Showcase dossier

PDF of all 50 founders delivered five days before doors open.

Investor breakfast — Day 2

Closed-room breakfast with your shortlisted founders.

Warm-intro concierge

We line up your meetings across both summit days.

Deal Room access

Quiet space on-site to take the conversations that matter.

Verified Investor badge

Signals to founders you're real, in-cycle, and writing cheques.

Curated Night Summit entry

Access to the investor-curated Night Festival rooms — not the general pass.

Full Day Summit + Main Stage

All six stages, both days. Front-of-house seating on the Main Stage.

PinkTag cap + T-shirt

The good kind. You'll actually wear it.

The Founder Showcase

Fifty founders. Curated, not crowdsourced.

We open applications to the African founder community, then shortlist down to fifty companies building in HealthTech, LegalTech, PropTech, FinTech, SalesTech and responsible AI for African markets. Stage, sector, traction and ethics all weighed.

Investors receive the full Showcase dossier five days before doors open — bios, traction, asks, founder contact — so the first conversation in Johannesburg is already the second one.

Inside the dossier

  • One-page founder profiles with stage, sector, geography and raise
  • Traction snapshot — revenue, users, regulatory posture
  • Direct contact for the founder + a warm-intro request form
  • Showcase schedule so you know exactly when each founder is on stage
Set up meetings

Tell us who. We'll line them up.

Two flows, one outcome — fewer hallway hopes, more booked time.

Warm-intro concierge

Pre-summit, send us your thesis and target list. We work the dossier, confirm the founders, and lock the meetings into your two-day schedule. You walk in with a calendar, not a question mark.

The Deal Room

On-site, quiet, bookable. A real space for the conversations that need to happen behind a closed door — diligence chats, term sheets, co-investor syncs.

By invitation · Custom curation

Host your own night.

Funds, syndicates, family offices and corporate venture arms can co-curate a private Night Festival room on Johannesburg (venue TBA) — a hand-picked guest list of delegates, founders and ecosystem partners. We handle the venue, the curation, and the choreography. You set the thesis.

  • Private venue on Johannesburg (venue TBA)
  • Co-curated guest list, vetted against your thesis
  • Branded moment, programmed without the corporate stiffness
  • PinkTag production team on the night
