1. What is the PinkTag PWA?
The PinkTag PWA is the same website you visit at pinktagsummit.com, made installable to your device's home screen. It is not distributed via the Apple App Store or Google Play.
2. Installing and uninstalling
- iPhone / iPad (Safari): Share → Add to Home Screen → Add.
- Android (Chrome): Menu (⋮) → Install app or Add to Home Screen.
- Desktop (Chrome / Edge): Install icon in the address bar.
- To uninstall: long-press the app icon and remove, or use your OS app management.
3. What the app stores on your device
The app may store the following on your device:
- Your authenticated session token (encrypted by your browser).
- Your cookie and install-prompt preferences.
- Cached static assets (images, fonts, scripts) for performance.
Removing the app or clearing site data deletes this local information.
4. Push notifications and offline support
If we offer push notifications or offline schedule access in future, they will be best-effort, dependent on your device, OS, browser, and network. We do not guarantee delivery, timeliness, or completeness of push messages or offline data.
5. Permissions
The app may request permissions (notifications, camera for QR check-in, location for venue maps). All permissions are optional and can be revoked at any time in your device settings.
6. Updates
The app updates automatically when you re-open it with an internet connection. Some changes (notably the app's name, icon, and start URL on iOS/Android) only apply after you reinstall.
7. Disclaimer
PinkTag is not responsible for issues arising from your device, OS, browser, network, battery, storage capacity, or third-party security software. Use of the app is at your own risk and subject to our Terms of Service.
